Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday that the Delhi Disaster Management Authority has allowed all educational institutions to be reopened from November 1.

He said that schools must ensure that courses are conducted in a mixed mode, which means that online courses will continue. “All private and government schools can reopen from November 1. However, parents cannot be forced to send their wards to the school,” Sisodia said in a press conference after the DDMA meeting.
The minister said that more than 50% of students in a class should be called to the school, and all staff must be vaccinated as soon as possible. Sisodia said that a limited number of people will be allowed to conduct Chhath Puja at predetermined locations in the capital.
