Delhi Jal Board vice-chairman Raghav Chadha said on Thursday that the water supply in the city would improve soon and the water level in the Wazirabad barrage was rising.
He said that “Haryana has released 16,000 cusecs of water into the Yamuna at Hathnikund barrage on Tuesday, which is likely to reach Delhi by Friday morning. After that, the water problem in the city will be solved.”
The DJB Vice President took stock of the preparations for increasing production at the Hyderpur Water Treatment Plant in Delhi which is the largest in India and the second largest in Asia.
