Ola Electric has started delivering Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, fulfilling its promise that its flagship product will be launched on the roads in India in mid-December. The delivery time was earlier scheduled for October 25th to November 25th.
The electric car manufacturer organized special events for the top 100 customers in Bangalore and Chennai, who participated in the event of bringing home electric scooters with friends and family. “(For those who joined the revolution with us when we started our revolution, this is a landmark day) Ola S1 delivery,” said Varun Dubey, Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric. “This is just the beginning of the revolution…” he added. The company uses automated scientific methods to prioritize delivery based on the date of purchase, model, location, color, and other factors. Dubey added that the electric car manufacturer is working hard to increase the output of its Futurefactory in order to deliver scooters to customers based on their delivery windows. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal shared the first batch of delivered electric scooters on Twitter. “We got goose bumps when hosting our first S1 customers at Ola Campus…Thanks to all our customers, they are the real reason behind the electric car revolution,” he wrote.
