Dhanashree uploaded an Instagram picture in August in which she discussed her injured ligament. To heal, I needed all that sleep. Funny thing is, I woke up today feeling quite strong and self-assured. anything I had been looking for for the last 14 days. I tore my ACL ligament after sustaining a knee injury while dancing (my last reel), which utterly destroyed my confidence. The only movement I have made while at home is from my bed to my couch (along with physiotherapy & rehab every day). But what has also helped me get through this is the support of my close friends, my husband, and my family.
She continued, alluding to rumours that she and her husband Yuzvendra Chahal had issues, “I have worked hard and have I progressively and gently earned my respect. I won’t let this injury or any unfounded rumours to rob me of it. In fact, this has increased my self-assurance and made me feel even less afraid. I am sure now that I am capable of handling the repercussions of leading a public life.
