In India’s opening match against Pakistan, a number of players including seniors Babar Azam and Shayb Malik were seen talking to Dhoni. On Friday, a member of the Pakistan side, Pacers Haris Rauf, shared a photo of a signed CSK jersey from MS Dhoni that he received from the team captain.
Rauf wrote on his official Twitter account: “Legend and Captain @msdhoni gave me his shirt with this beautiful gift. “7” still won people’s hearts through his kindness and kind gestures. @russcsk especially thank you for your kind support.”

Rauf had an impressive performance in a blockbuster clash with India at the T20 World Cup. Bowling at a strike rate of 6.25, Rauf recorded a 1/25 figure in four overs to take Hardik Pandya’s vital wicket.
Pakistan ended up winning by 10 wickets in the match in Dubai. While India were eliminated in the group stage, Pakistan lost to eventual champions Australia in the semi-finals. Raouf became the team’s second-highest wicketkeeper in the edition.
The Pakistani fast bowler is currently playing in Australia’s Big Bash league where he represents the Melbourne Stars.
Dhoni, meanwhile, is expected to return to action in the Indian Premier League this year. The CSK captain was one of the four players retained by the franchise ahead of this year’s mega-auction, which is scheduled to take place in February.
