Afghan MP Anarkali Kaur Honaryar, who came to India from Kabul after the Taliban’s capture in Afghanistan, has said, “I didn’t even get time to take a handful of soil from my country.”
She further said that his ailing mother wants to go back to Kabul.
“I don’t know what to tell them,” said Kaur.
Afghan MP Anarkali Kaur Honaryar reached India in an Indian Air Force’s C-17 transport aircraft on Sunday morning.
The MP said she still hopes that Afghanistan gets a government that protects the gains made in the last 20 years.
