Diljit Dosanjh’s remarkable accomplishments in the music industry are reaching yet another significant milestone. The actor-singer frequently promotes Punjabi music on international stages, and he will soon be a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s wildly popular show, The Tonight Show.

Diljit made the announcement along with a number of photos in a new Instagram post on Wednesday. Diljit has a long history of making history. As part of the Dil-Luminati tour, the singer broke a new record in April by being the first Punjabi musician to perform at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium. Additionally, he shared images of the jam-packed show on Instagram with the description, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN (writing emoji), BC PLACE STADIUM (building emoji), SOLD OUT (face with goggles emoji), DIL-LUMINATI TOUR (monster emoji).”

As the first Punjabi artist to appear at Coachella, Diljit wowed a raucous crowd with his performance last year. “Punjabi aa gaye Coachella oye” was his stage entrance announcement, and the video quickly went viral on social media.

Recently, Diljit appeared alongside Parineeti Chopra in Imtiaz Ali’s musical biography Amar Singh Chamkila. In the movie Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, he also played a supporting part.

The next film starring him is Juliet and Betty 3. On June 11, the movie’s trailer was unveiled. It will be released on June 27 and stars Neeru Bajwa as well.
