Manish Sisodia urged residents of Himachal Pradesh to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming assembly election. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of announcing freebies out of the fear of losing the polls.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has announced 125 units of electricity for free which will benefit 11.5 lakh families. He said the government had been scared of AAP’s announcement of fighting the 2022 assembly election and hence came up with the freebies.
The ruling BJP is aiming to retain power for a second consecutive term.
