Sonali Bendre recently voiced her regret for not taking advantage of the opportunity to learn from her co-star Aamir Khan while they were filming Sarfarosh in 1999. Sonali recently sat together with Film Companion for a chat. This is when she spoke about her time in Sarfarosh working with Aamir. She admitted that she enjoyed watching him but that she did not take advantage of the opportunity to learn from him. “Aamir has always been a stickler for detail. In fact, I believe I had a great time doing Sarfarosh with him since I could see what he was doing. But I lacked the maturity to appreciate and learn from it. Of course you learn—every time you work with someone, you learn from them—but not in the way you might think. And I believe I squandered that opportunity. Looking back, I was not mature enough to take advantage of the opportunity.
