The tremors were felt in several parts of North India including Delhi, NCR (National Capital Region) at 5.15 pm on Friday. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 200 kilometers below the ground in Hindukush (Afghanistan) and its magnitude has been measured 6.1 on the Richter scale. According to reports, the tremors were felt for about 1 minute.
