The Election Commission (EC) has postponed elections to 55 seats in the Rajya Sabha on March 26 amid mounting cases of coronavirus. Significantly, many states and union territories of the country have imposed lockdown in full or in part. Coronavirus infection cases have increased to 492 in India.
