Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Twitter on Friday that he is considering opening a new university: “Texas Institute of Technology.” It’s not clear how serious the billionaire is, especially considering the obscene acronym of the proposed school and Musk’s reputation for joking on Twitter – even violating securities laws.

This did not stop netizens from grabbing this tweet, pushing the acronym of the proposed school to become the top 25 Twitter list in the US on Friday. In addition to joking, Musk has used vulgar acronyms in his business operations, including plans to launch Tesla’s Model S, 3, X and Y models to spell out S.3.X.Y. On the company website.

When a Twitter user asked him if he received funding for the university, Musk replied: “It’s obvious.” This may only be an endorsement of Musk’s 2018 tweet. In the tweet, he stated that he had “acquired the funds” to take Tesla private at a price of $420 per share.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission’s settlement should have kept the superbillionaire away from Twitter to a large extent.
