Fire at godown in Delhi’s Jhandewalan area, 27 tenders rushed to spot

On Friday, a massive explosion was reported from a godown in central Delhi’s Jhandewalan neighbourhood. To put out the fire, as many as 27 fire tenders were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was reported at 2.05 p.m. from the Jhandewalan cycle market, according to officials. So far, no major injuries or damage have been reported. Satyendar Jain, a Delhi minister, also tweeted about the fire, which he said had been put out.
