Alia Bhatt has shared the first look of her character Isha from Brahmastra. The film is the first in a mythology-based trilogy and is subtitled Part One:. Shiva – Shiva is played by Alia’s real life boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. “Can’t think of a better day and better way for you all to meet Isha,” Alia wrote on Instagram.
Ayan Mukerji, director of the movie wrote: Happy birthday, Little One. For all the joy, the pride, the inspiration and the magic that you make me feel. Brahmastra will cap something of an annus mirabilis for Alia Bhatt. She received rave reviews for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Brahmastra co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, and releases on September 9. Alia also has another big release coming up at the end of this month in the SS Rajamouli-directed RRR, co-starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan.
