Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi died at the age of 84 on Monday. He was undergoing treatment at the Guwahati Medical College Hospital for complications after Covid-19. According to doctors, he was put on ventilator after several organs stopped functioning. He was infected with Covid-19 in August.
