Free ration from June 5 to even those without ration cards in Delhi: Sisodia

Many people lost their jobs in the lockdown imposed during the Corona period. Delhi government is arranging free ration to such people.

In Delhi, even those who do not have ration cards, the government will distribute ration in schools from June 5. The government has joined in this exercise.

On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted that people who do not have ration cards in Delhi will also start getting ration in schools from June 5.

Ration has also started reaching schools from Wednesday. The government is making complete arrangements to ensure that there is no shortage of food for any poor person in Delhi.

The distribution of ration to those without ration cards will be done in one school in each of the 280 wards of Delhi. Delhi government will give 4 kg of wheat and 1 kg of rice per person free of cost.
