After increasing the international crude oil prices for the second consecutive day, the fuel prices were again increased by the state-owned oil marketing companies on Wednesday. After today’s revision, the rates of petrol and diesel have increased by 25 paise across the country.
Oil companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel after a gap of one day. Petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 95.56 per liter and the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 86.47 per liter. Petrol in Mumbai is getting close to Rs 102 per liter and diesel at Rs 94 per liter.
Fuel rates have reached new record highs in all other major cities of the country. There are many districts where the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter, while the price of diesel has crossed Rs 90 per liter in most of the districts.
