Former India captain says he is “surprised” that his ‘simple tweet’ sparked speculation. Ganguly thanks fans and those involved in his long cricketing journey in a brief statement.

The former India captain later clarified that his tweet was misinterpreted. Ganguly is “completely focussed” on new opportunities lined up, says BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
