The pull is one of Rohit Sharma’s signature shots but it has also cost him wickets in the past. In India’s first Test against Sri Lanka, he hit back-to-back fours off the first two balls of Lahiru Kumara’s over with the shot but he only ended up hitting the fourth ball of the over straight into the hands of long on.
The batsman was dismissed on 29 off 28 balls, marking the first time he failed to score at least a half century in an innings in four Test matches.
