Understudies of GB Pant Engineering College here proceeded with their appetite strike on Wednesday requesting incorporation of the organization in the affirmation directing of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University after it was dropped from the rundown.
While five understudies are on hunger strike since Tuesday, a few others have joined a demonstration fight which started not long ago.
“A specialist visited to check vitals of the understudies on hunger strike. Different understudies are finishing their tasks at the dissent site and contemplating. An hour has been kept independently for crusade tunes and trademarks,” an understudy said.
The Delhi Cabinet had a year ago in March endorsed development of an incorporated grounds of GB Pant Engineering College (GBPEC) and Polytechnic in Okhla Industrial Estate at an expected expense of over Rs 520 crore.

“We had before gone to meet Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. While understudies were inflexible on meeting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or his agent Mr Sisodia on Monday, police authorities attempted to convince them to cancel the dissent. “Around 60 understudies have accumulated at Vikas Sadan. They are arranging fight over their inward issues relating to their school. They request that their school be recorded for guiding,” a senior police official said on Monday.
