The global launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro will apparently take place in the next few weeks, as the phone is rumored to arrive at the end of March. Unlike the already available Chinese version of ColorOS running Oppo, the global model should come with a new unified ColorOS + OxygenOS skin. At least that’s what the two companies announced in September, when the OnePlus 10 series was specifically mentioned as the first to get the new unified OS.
Well, according to a new rumor from the usually reliable tipster, that’s not going to happen. Apparently, the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch with OxygenOS globally. It’s unclear if this means the full, classic, old-school OxygenOS, or if it looks like OxygenOS but has an updated version of the ColorOS code underneath (as seen on the Nord 2).
On the other hand, the unified operating system has allegedly been delayed, although it is unclear what the new release schedule might be. If this rumor spreads, OxygenOS fans will have more time to get used to the idea of their beloved skin disappearing entirely in the future.
