Aviation company GoAir has reported that a minor fire broke out in the engine of an aircraft going from Ahmedabad to Bangalore due to a bird-struck collision during takeoff. Goyer said the fire was under control and all crew members and passengers were safe. An alternate aircraft has been arranged for passengers.
