Google said that shortly after thousands of users flagged it on the outage tracking site downdetector.com, its cloud network issue was partially resolved, and that the issue counts Etsy, Spotify, and Snap Inc as customers.

Google Cloud’s dashboard earlier revealed that services including cloud developer tools, cloud consoles and cloud engines are all facing disruptions. Spotify has stated that after more than 50,000 users reported problems with downdetector, it has realized that “there are some problems and are checking them”, but according to the website, these outages have been resolved. “Many Snapchat users have encountered problems with the application.

Please hold on, we are working hard to fix it. At the same time, we recommend staying logged in,” Snapchat support staff said in a tweet earlier. Fastly, the cloud company behind the world’s major Internet, said it was seeing more and more mistakes that “general cloud providers have nothing to do with Fastly’s edge cloud platform”. Tuesday’s brief outage came after a six-hour widespread outage of Meta Platforms Inc (formerly Facebook) last month.

The company’s router configuration was paralyzed after an incorrect change. Downdetector only tracks outages by collating status reports from a range of sources, including errors submitted by users on its platform. The outage may have affected more users.
