Vivo is gearing up to launch its new line of budget smartphones in India. The company will launch the T-series in India on February 9. As part of the company’s new smartphone series, the company will launch the Vivo T1 5G in India. Key specs of the budget 5G smartphone were teased ahead of launch.
A week before the launch, Flipkart has confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase through its platform. The microsite did not confirm any details about the upcoming Vivo smartphone. Vivo T1 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart shortly after launch. The 5G smartphone will be launched in India on February 9. It will announce the main specifications of the device starting on February 3. The device was launched in China last year. The phone is expected to come with the same specs in India. However, a recent report suggests that Vivo smartphones in India will come with different processors.
Unlike the Chinese model with the Snapdragon 778G SoC, the Vivo T1 5G India model will have the Snapdragon 695 SoC. Once commercially launched in India, the device will support 5G networks. It is said to be priced under Rs 20,000 in India. Exact pricing details will be announced at the event, after which it will be available exclusively through Flipkart.
One can expect other specifications of the Vivo smartphone to remain unchanged. In this case, the phone will feature a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 16MP front-facing camera has a hole-punch cutout at the top center.
