Google Updating Android With New Features Including Family Alerts, Digital Car Key Support

Google announced a series of new features for Android users, these features are being launched, designed to make your phone more useful. One of the most notable features is the home ringer, which can help you and your family maintain a normal schedule by receiving alarms on mobile phones and home devices such as smart speakers or displays. Another major update is coming to Google Photos, and you will get new memories to review memories with your loved ones. Google also introduced a digital car key feature, allowing you to use your Android phone as a car key.

From the list of new features detailed in Google’s blog posts, Family Bell is the feature you’ll find most useful if you plan to spend time with your family. When you want to connect for a specific common goal, it not only allows you to send alerts to your phone, but also to your family and devices (including home speakers and smart displays with ringtones and notifications) alarm.

This could be calling the family for breakfast, watering the tree during the holidays, or going out to watch a family movie night. You can edit, manage and customize the family bell through the device of your choice. Each of your family members can also set ringtones on their devices for personal goals. In addition to Family Bell, Google applications such as Google Play Books and YouTube Music also received widgets. Google Play Books is receiving a new widget that allows you to access the complete library of books and track the progress of audiobooks directly from the home screen.

With the new YouTube Music widget, you can access playback controls and recently played tracks from the home screen, and easily control and enjoy your favorite music.

Starting next week, a new Google Photos people and pet widget will also be launched, allowing you to place a frame with family photos on your home screen. You can choose several faces and a suitable frame to decorate your home screen with your loved ones.
