Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), in a joint venture with KEC International, has awarded Rs 1,147 crore for the corridor four of phase two for construction of 7.95 km elevated viduct section and nine elevated stations by Chennai Metro Rail Limited.
HCC’s stake in the JV is 51 per cent or Rs 585 crore. The scope of work includes civil works, architectural works, plumbing and drainage and temporary services, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The nine elevated stations include Chennai Bypass Crossing, Raricharichadra Hospital, Liaparithangal Bus Depot, Katupakkam, Kummanan Chavadi, Karyan Chavadi, Mulai Thottam, Poonamallee Bus Terminus, Poonamallee Bypass.
