High Court Sent Notice To Center And Delhi Police Including Sonia, Rahul, And Other Leaders

A petition was sought in the Delhi High Court on a plea seeking registration of cases against several leaders including Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi on charges of making inflammatory speeches. On the petition of the Lawyers Voice, a bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice C Hari Shankar of Delhi High Court issued notice to the Center and sought answers.

The petition also requested to register an FIR against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, former AIMIM MLA from Mumbai Waris Pathan and AIMIM leaders Akbaruddin Owaisi and Asaduddin Owaisi for allegedly giving hate speech. On the petition filed against all these, the High Court has issued a notice to the Center.

The petition claimed former AIMIM MLA Waris Pathan for allegedly giving hate speech, and claimed that his statement only created communal tension in Delhi, killing many people. Let us tell you that earlier in the case of violence in Delhi, the High Court had expressed displeasure over the attitude of the Delhi Police regarding the objectionable statement.
