1. Jaggery and Honey

Jaggery and honey have been used since ancient times to protect the body from diseases. If you include it in your diet, it makes it strong by protecting the body from the damage caused by smog.

2. Garlic

The antibiotic properties found in garlic protects your body from the phlegm caused by pollution. Mash the garlic buds and cook it well in a spoonful of butter. Now eat it and do not drink water for half an hour. By doing this, all the phlegm in the langs gets removed.

3. Ginger

Ginger has been used to cure many diseases. If you have frequent colds and infections due to pollution, then eating ginger is very beneficial for you. Mixing one teaspoon of honey in lukewarm ginger juice and drinking it thrice a day gives a lot of relief to the body.

4. Black Pepper

Mash the black pepper or make a powder by crushing it. Now take it with a spoon of honey, all the phlegm deposited in the chest gets cleared. Black pepper is also very beneficial in keeping the langs clean.

5. Saunth, Jaggery, and Desi ghee

Make bite-sized laddoo made with saunth(dry ginger), gur (jaggery) and ghee. To prepare these, take equal amounts of all these ingredients and mix them well. Roll them into small balls. This laddoo helps in keeping your body warm.
