Amitabh Bachchan recently revealed that he regrets not spending more time with his kids Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan during their childhood.
On his quiz show, the megastar opened up about how his busy work schedule kept him away from his children most of the time. When he would leave for work in the morning, they would be sleeping and they would sleep off by the time he returned home at night. Although he admitted that he felt bad back then, he added that everybody is more understanding about it now.
Big B also spoke about his initial days in Bollywood when he faced rejections and struggled to bag films. He also revealed an advice that his late father gave him when he failed. It was at a time when he was working in Kolkata and wanted to enter the film industry but was rejected at first. Bachchan’s father told him if he wants to enter the house and all doors are closed, he should scale the wall. And that is exactly what he did to reach Mumbai.
Even today, Amitabh Bachchan is super active on his professional front. He has some very interesting films lined up ahead of him. He will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ that will star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role. He also has Marathi director Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Jhund’ and Nag Ashwin’s untitled movie with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
