The actor Sanjay Dutt wrote a message on social media for his wife Maanayata Dutt, who celebrated her birthday on Friday. He sent Maanayata a touching photo of himself and addressed her as “mom.” The actor praised her for her contributions to his life and called her a “amazing lady.”
Sanjay posed frankly in the photo clutching Maanayata’s hands. He was dressed in denim and a black leather jacket, while Maanayata Dutt was smiling and wearing a dress. Shahraan and Iqra, twins, were born to Sanjay and Maanayata in 2010 after their marriage. Sanjay had a cancer diagnosis in 2020. Maanayata served as his pillar of support at the time when he received cancer treatment.
Friday not only honours Maanayata’s birthday but also the debut of Sanjay Dutt’s movie Shamshera. Sanjay and Ranbir Kapoor, who portrayed Sanjay in his biopic Sanju, have never worked together before. In Shamshera, a brutal authoritarian general named Shudh Singh imprisons, enslaves, and tortures a warrior tribe (played by Sanjay Dutt). Sanjay last appeared in KGF Chapter 2 by Prashanth Neel, a popular film.
