Every day cases of COVID-19 are increasing in India (Coronavirus India Report). The number of infected has reached about 82 lakhs. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday morning, the number of corona infected in the country has risen to 81,84,082.
In the last 24 hours (from 8 am Saturday to 8 am Sunday), 46,963 new cases of corona have been reported. 58,684 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. During this time 470 corona infected have died. This is the lowest number of deaths in a day after 7 July.
A total of 74,91,513 patients have been cured so far. 1,22,111 people have died. The current number of corona cases is below 6 lakhs. This number has come down for the first time since 2 August. At present, there are 5,70,458 active cases in the country. Talking about the recovery rate, it has reached 91.53 percent after a slight increase. The positivity rate is 4.3 percent. The death rate is 1.49 percent. On October 31, 10,91,239 corona sample tests were performed. A total of 10,98,87,303 sample tests have been done so far.
