Nayanthara has been dating filmmaker Vignesh Shivn for quite some time now. Earlier this week, the couple paid a visit to Vignesh Shivn’s ancestral temple, reigniting wedding rumours. After a video from their temple visit surfaced on social media, fans claimed that they are definitely preparing to marry.

A video of Vignesh and Nayanthara visiting Kalikambal temple went viral on social media earlier this year in March. Nayanthara was seen with Sindoor in the video, which led to speculation that she had married Vignesh in a secret wedding. This wasn’t the first time rumours about the couple getting married in secret have circulated.

Nayanthara and Vignesh were seen in the temple grounds as people flocked to take pictures with them. Vignesh was seen shielding Nayanthara with his arms around her, as if to protect her.

Nayanthara recently starred alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi in Vignesh Shivn’s romantic comedy, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. Nayanthara played Kanmani Ganguly, a character who falls in love with both Vijay Sethupathi’s and Samantha’s characters.

She is now awaiting the release of Godfather, a Telugu film co-starring Chiranjeevi. In the film, which is a replica of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, she plays his sister.

She’s also anticipating the release of Tamil movie O2, a survival thriller set in a race against time. The teaser for the film was recently released, and it appears to be set entirely inside a bus. The film, directed by GS Viknesh, will see Nayanthara fight for her son’s existence, who is ailing and need oxygen support. This will be the third Nayanthara-starrer to have a direct OTT debut rather than a theatrical release, thanks to Dream Warrior Pictures.
