At the wedding of her best friend Alia Bhatt, actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor was inconsolable. On Saturday, more than two weeks after the wedding, she took to Instagram to share some previously unseen photos of herself from the mehendi ceremony.
The photos depict Akansha’s various moods throughout the ceremony. She is first seen smiling and grooving to the music while sipping a drink. Her outfit consists of a yellow saree and a white blouse. She becomes more emotional in the following photos, and she is even seen holding Alia’s hand with a crying expression on her face. She is sobbing with her hand on her mouth in the final photo, as someone tries to console her.
Akansha made fun of her emotional self as well. She captioned the photo, “The (de)escalation of ARK’s emotions at every wedding, ever.” Anushka Ranjan, her older sister, also confirmed that it was true. She commented on the post, “Hahahaha cried a lot I must say.” “Hahaha this is the cutest,” wrote Athiya Shetty. “Hahahahaha Kanchu,” wrote Vaani Kapoor.
Akansha’s affection for her best friend was also well received by fans. One person wrote, “Friendships like these> entire world.” Akansha, like her sister and Alia, is an actress. She starred in the Netflix films Guilty and Ray.
On April 14, Alia Bhatt married her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Only the couple’s closest family and friends attended the intimate wedding, which took place at their Bandra home.
