The Income Tax Department has raided the offices of Dainik Bhaskar Group, a well-known media organization of the country. Sources with knowledge of the whole matter said that this raid is being done to investigate the case of tax evasion.
Under this, the IT department team has raided the premises of Dainik Bhaskar Group located in Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.
It has not been given by the Income Tax Department in which case this raid is being conducted. Apart from this, it has not been told which offices and premises have been raided.
Dainik Bhaskar Group publishes a total of 5 newspapers in the country. Its 65 editions in Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati are published from different parts of the country.
Dainik Bhaskar newspaper group did massive coverage during the second wave of Corona in April and May this year.
Not only this, many such reports were published by the newspaper, in which the number of deaths was actually higher, questioning the Corona government figures.
