India’s daily COVID-19 numbers were marginally higher than yesterday as the country reported 42,766 new cases today. 308 deaths were recorded during the period, according to the Health Ministry.
Maharashtra contributed 4,130 cases and 64 deaths to India’s daily numbers. There are now 52,025 active coronavirus cases in Maharashtra and the state’s case recovery rate stands at 97.02 per cent while the fatality rate is 2.12 per cent.
