The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India notified on Tuesday that India has recorded 12,428 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, which is the lowest level in 238 days. The number of active cases in the country was 1,63,816, the lowest level in 241 days.
Active cases accounted for less than 1% of the total cases, and it is currently 0.48%, the lowest level since March 2020. In the past 24 hours, 15,951 people have recovered, and India’s recovery rate is 98.19%, which is the highest level since the pandemic began. In addition, the weekly positive rate is 1.24%, while the daily positive rate is 1.10%.
