According to the Union Ministry of Health data updated this morning, India reported 13,451 new cases of COVID-19 in a single day, and the number of active cases in the country was 1,62,661.
The daily positive rate (the number of confirmed positive cases per 100) is 1.03%, less than 2% in the past 23 days, and the weekly positive rate is 1.22%, and less than 2% in the past 33 days. The announcement showed that the national COVID-19 recovery rate was 98.19%, the highest level since March 2020. 14,021 people recovered in the past 24 hours, and the total number of people recovered in the country climbed to 3,35,97,339.
