India reports over 1,68,912 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, the highest so far

There is a continuous increase in the case of Coronavirus infection in the country. According to the new data on Monday, 1,68,912 new cases were registered in one day. According to the Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan have the highest number of new cases of Covid-19.

80.92 percent of new cases have been filed from these 10 states. The Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat governments have also ordered the school and college to be closed till April 30 in view of the increasing case. Active cases in the country crossed 12 lakh, which is 8.88 percent of the total positive cases in the country. According to the ministry, 5 states – Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala – account for 70.82 percent of India’s total active cases. At the same time, only Maharashtra’s share in the active case is 48.57 percent.
