Indira Gandhi And Amrit Kaur Included In Time Magazine’s List Of ‘100 Women Of The Year’

Time magazine recently included former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and freedom fighter princess Amrit Kaur in the list of 100 powerful women of the world of the last century. Time magazine has named Rajkumari Amrit Kaur as the ‘Woman of the Year’ for the year 1947 and Indira Gandhi for the year 1976.

Time magazine has made a special cover for this. 100 influential women were selected out of 600 nominations after several months of the lengthy process by time staff and experts. The magazine said that now 100 women of the year are being given place to women who were always ignored.

He struggled to liberate India from colonial fetters. He held the Ministry of Health for ten years.
