Instagram may soon stop cutting longer video stories

So far, one of the shortcomings of Instagram when posting video stories is the time limit for editing. Clips longer than 15 seconds will be automatically split into multiple adjacent stories. However, the platform now seems to be trying to change the time limit and increase it to 60 seconds, allowing one-minute clips to be uploaded to the story as a single file.

As Twitter user Matt Navarra (@MattNavarra) pointed out, Instagram is currently notifying selected people who have received the upgrade about the changes. The new feature will help Instagram’s single competing applications, such as Snapchat, which also does not allow users to post through the platform or send longer clips as one upload. This step is Instagram’s latest move, focusing more on videos instead of pictures, followed by the popular “scroll” function, as well as other video addition functions, such as the recently launched scroll visual reply function, so that anyone can You can use another scroll to reply to comments on its scroll. However, increasing the timer to 60 seconds is not the only new feature. The platform also used a new interface when creating the story to be published. This new interface makes adding elements such as locations or tags to other accounts easier than before.

We still don’t know whether this feature will be more widely promoted in other regions, because it is still technically in the testing stage. However, if we do this, users may see that it adds a new update for Instagram and can download it again from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
