Apple suppliers will start producing display panels for the third-generation iPhone SE this month, according to display industry consultant Ross Young. Additionally, final assembly of the device could begin in March. Therefore, the iPhone SE 3 is likely to be released in the second half of April, or possibly early May at the latest. Last year, as Macrumors reported, Ross Young revealed that the new iPad mini would feature an 8.3-inch display and remove the home button. In addition, he was the first to reveal that the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros will feature ProMotion displays. We mean, he’s a pretty reliable source of Apple-related product leaks. So there is every reason to believe that the information he disclosed this time is also true. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently tweeted that Apple will hold a spring event to unveil the new iPhone SE and other new hardware. Last year, Apple held an event on April 20 to unveil the AirTag, the new iPad Pro and 24-inch iMac models with the M1 chip, the new Apple TV 4K, and a purple option for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
