iQoo Neo 5S will be released through a special launch event in China later today. Before the launch, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has teased some key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The company shared some teaser pictures showing that it may not get a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but it will get a stereo speaker setup. iQoo Neo 5S has also been teased as having a 48-megapixel main sensor for the triple rear camera. The display specifications of iQoo Neo 5S have also surfaced online.
Through Weibo, iQoo joked that the upcoming iQoo Neo 5S will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and support dual-core 66W fast charging. The Vivo subsidiary allegedly went from zero to 70% within 18 minutes. Another post joked that the upcoming iQoo smartphone will be equipped with stereo speakers, and the shared image does not show a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
iQoo released the camera specifications of the upcoming iQoo Neo 5S through another Weibo. The smartphone is said to be equipped with a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.79 aperture 25mm aspheric lens. iQoo Neo 5S will also be equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). The Chinese smartphone manufacturer also shared a camera sample of iQoo Neo 5S, which showed good dynamic range and realistic color reproduction. In addition, another Weibo post teased some of the display specifications of the upcoming iQoo smartphone. iQoo Neo 5S will be equipped with an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,300nits. The upcoming smartphone will also have a contrast ratio of 6,000,000:1, a touch sampling rate of 1,000Hz and HDR10+ support.
The iQoo Neo series will be launched later today. iQoo Neo 5S is planned to be released together with the upcoming iQoo Neo 5 SE.
