Irfan Pathan becomes 4th India Legends cricketer to test positive for coronavirus

Recently, Cricketer Irfan Pathan, who played in the Road Safety World Series, has become Corona positive. Before him, Sachin Tendulkar, who played for India Legends in the series, Irfan’s brother Yusuf Pathan and Subramanian Badrinath have been infected. Irfan was also commenting with Parthiv Patel and Akash Chopra during the recent ODI series with England.

Irrfan wrote on social media that “I had a corona test despite having no symptoms. My report has come up positive. After this, I have quarantined myself at home. My appeal to the people in my contact is to get their inquiries done. Wear all masks and follow social distancing.”

The Road Safety World Series was played in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, on 16 March, Captain Sachin Tendulkar baked a cake with India Legends players in the dressing room. Sachin had completed 100 centuries in a cricket career on the same day. Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj, Yusuf, Mohammad Kaif, and Pragyan Ojha, including other players, celebrated the same.
