The counting of votes has started for the 81 seats of the Jharkhand Assembly for which voting was held in five phases from 30 November to 20 December. This time the assembly election was 65.23% while in 2014 it was 66.53%. This time a total of 1216 candidates, including 127 women, were in the fray.
