Jharkhand bans celebrations, mass gatherings at public places as cases rise

The Jharkhand government issued new warnings on Friday to avoid any possibility of coronavirus in view of festivals such as Holi, Easter, Eid and Shab-e-Baaraat.

According to the order, the Jharkhand government has banned mass gatherings and processions in public places for upcoming festivals.

The state government said people should avoid mass celebrations and hold festivals at home with family members.

This place of worship will also follow the latest POE issued by the Ministry of the Interior (MHA). All state offices will also follow the Kovid-19 protocol.

The latest guidelines were announced by the Jharkhand government in light of the sporadic increase in coronavirus cases in the state.

On Friday, 308 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Jharkhand. With this, the total number of active virus cases in the state amounted to 1,399.
