The four convicts were hanged at 5:30 am on Friday morning, 7 years after the Nirbhaya gang-rape. Earlier in the urgent hearing late on Thursday night, the Delhi High Court and then at 3:30 am the Supreme Court refused to ban the hanging. On March 5, a death warrant was issued for the fourth time against the culprits.
