Radha Nair shared a memory from the sets of Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film Tik Tik Tik, where she and her co-stars wore bikinis. She felt it took a lot of strength and struggle to do so. Tik Tik Tik was the first Tamil film to feature a bikini scene, and Radha praised Madhavi’s performance.

Radha made her acting debut with 1981 Tamil film Alaigal Oivathillai and worked alongside Kamal Haasan in other films.

Radha acted in other languages, including Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, until her last appearance in 1991. Radha stopped acting after marrying a hotelier, but her daughters Karthika and Thulasi worked in films.

In an interview with Times Now, she questioned whether she joined politics due to her movies’ poor box office performance, comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous unsuccessful films.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.

The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT.
