Kangana Ranaut recently stated that she is unable to marry because rumours persist that she is combative and picks fights with others. In a recent interview, the actor joked that such rumours have created a perception about her that prevents her from finding love. Arjun Rampal, her Dhaakad co-star, played matchmaker for her, listing her positive qualities to potential suitors.

Kangana Ranaut is awaiting the release of Dhaakad, her spy action thriller. Kangana plays Agent Agni, a super spy in the film. For the action-packed role, the actor has put in a lot of effort, building a physique and even performing some of the action sequences herself.

Siddharth Kannan was asked in an interview if she is just as ‘dhakad’ (tomboyish) in real life as her character. “That’s not how it is, come on,” the actor responded with a laugh. In real life, who will I beat up? Because of people like you spreading these rumours, I am unable to marry.” “Yes, because rumours are spread about me that I beat up boys,” Kangana half-jokingly replied when Siddharth asked if she was unable to marry because of the perception that she is tough.

Arjun Rampal, who was also present during the exchange, interjected and advised Siddharth not to spread rumours. After that, the actor was asked to list Kangana’s positive qualities so that men can see that she isn’t as combative as she appears on screen. “All I can say is that Kangana Ranaut is a fantastic actor,” Arjun responded. Everything she does is for a role, but she is nothing like that in real life. She is a very sweet, loving, and God-fearing person in real life. She practises puja-paath and yoga. She is a perfectly normal person.”

Dhaakad also features Divya Dutta in addition to Kangana and Arjun. The film, directed by Razneesh Ghai, is slated for a May 20 release and is being billed as Hindi cinema’s first female-led spy thriller.
