On Thursday, Kareena Kapoor and her BFFs gathered at Karisma Kapoor’s house for a dinner. Malaika Arora, her sister Amrita Arora, filmmaker Karan Johar, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra were among those present. Malaika also shared a few photos from the dinner on her Instagram Stories to give fans a sneak peek.
Malaika was seen wearing a silver-grey co-ord set and stilettos that matched. Kareena wore a vibrant short kaftan dress with glistening heels. Manish was dressed casually, while Karan wore a trendy black and yellow tracksuit.
While Karisma did not leave her house, Malaika shared a photo on her Instagram Stories that appears to include Karisma. “Footsie,” she captioned a photo of two pairs of feet, one of hers and the other in yellow heels (possibly Karisma). She also posted a photo of the dining table, which was set with a lavish meal for the guests. “Ufff yummmmm @therealkarismakapoor,” she wrote.
Natasha Poonawalla, their other BFF, was nowhere to be found. Natasha was recently in New York for the Met Gala, where she wore a Sabyasachi saree with a dramatic golden corset. Malaika, Amrita, Kareena, and Karisma all congratulated her on Instagram. On her Instagram Stories, Kareena wrote for her “This is the one and only. Ufffff. “Love, love, love,” wrote Karisma, while “That’s my girl” wrote Karisma (golden heart emoji). Amazing.” “Woah woman, you nailed it,” Malaika exclaimed, while Amrita exclaimed, “That’s how it’s done!”
Kareena is the only one of the BFFs who is currently acting in films. She is getting ready to promote her upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, which stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. She will also make her Netflix debut in a film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, is Karan’s directorial comeback project.
