Aam Aadmi Party candidate Arvind Kejriwal defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Sunil Kumar from New Delhi seat by 21,697 votes. Kejriwal has won this seat for the third consecutive time. In the 2015 assembly elections, Kejriwal defeated BJP’s Nupur Sharma by 31,583 votes.
